3/4 cup moong dal(without skin).You can soak for few hours and wash to remove skin.
Salt.
2 tsps garlic chilli paste.
3 tsps turmeric powder.
2 onions sliced.
1 tsp green chilly paste.
2 tbsps cooking oil.
1 large tomato peeled and cut into small pieces.
3 tsps garam masala powder.
Directions
Wash moong dal .add 2 cups of water.;ittle salt .1 tsp turmeric powder.boil it until soft.Keep aside.
Take a vessel .heat it .add onions ,braise till golden brown..add tomatoes ,turmeric,garlic paste and green chilly paste.braise on low heat for 5 mins.
Wash spinach and add to it.add salt.mix it .cover and cook till spinach cooked .
Add boiled dal. mix it and let it cook for 5 mins on low heat, so that it blends with spinach.
Add 1 cup of water.garam masala powder,and lemon (optional).
