tomato egg curry

can be eaten with rice,chappathi,dosa,and idly,can also be eaten as amain dish.serves four.

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 4 tomatos,cut into pieces
    • 2 onions
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 green chilli
    • 3 garlic,ginger 1 inch piece-peeled,shredded
    • 1/4 tsp mustard,jeera each
    • 1/4 tsp chilly powder
    • 2 ttsp cooking oil
    •  1 tsp corriander leaves
    • salt to taste

     

    Directions

    1. Boil eggs,cut into desired shape
    2. In a thick bottomed tawa, heat oil and add mustard and jeera
    3. Add chopped  onion,ginger,garlic,  tomatos and green chilli
    4. close with a lid,keep in a low flame for 10 minutes,stirring in between,till the onions and tomatos are done.
    5. add chilli powder and salt
    6. add egg,mix well with the gravy
    7. remove from fire, decorate with coriander leaves.

    but dun u think a lil water wud be required to make it lil watery so that gravy comes well.. yea i knw with tomatoes the water wud come .. but i think lil water wud do no harm wat say??
