Idili Chaat

Fun afternoon snack

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 2 full paata of the small idlis (or 3 paatas of the regular sized idlis cut into 4 pieces)
    • Finely grated carrots
    • Finely grated onion
    • Shredded cabbage
    • Cashwe Nuts
    • Mustard Seeds
    • Afstoeida powder
    • Oil


    1. In a pan add oil and afstoeida powder
    2. Once oil is heated add mustard seeds and way for them to pop
    3. Fry cashews until slight brown
    4. Then add shredded carrots, onion and cabbage
    5. Cook until veggies are soft
    6. Then add the idlis and fry them until they have a nice crust
    7. Serve with achaar and enjoy!
