Chatpat bhajji fry

bhajias made in a jiffy with a combination of flours

It is a variation of bhajias with the use of a combination of flours.It is my mother's recipe with a bit variations done by me.hope you guys like it.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • ¼ cup of maida
    • ¼ cup of rice flour
    • ¼ cup of suji
    • ¼ cup of besan
    • ¼ tsp soda bi carb
    • 1-2 tsp ghee or oil
    • 1 medium sized onion(chopped)
    • 10-12 curry leaves(chopped)
    • 1 inch piece of ginger and 2-3 green chillies(chopped)
    • 2-3 spoons of green coriader(chopped)
    • salt accrding to your taste
    • jeera and white sesame seeds (optional, ¼ tsp each)
    • Oil for frying 

    Directions

    1. Mix all the flours,add in dry ingredients.
    2. Make a batter with the help of water, using little each time.
    3. The batter should be of dropping consistency as of palodas(bhajias).
    4. It should neither be too runny nor to be too thick.Ghee can be added at this time.
    5. Mix in onions, ginger and curry leaves etc.
    6. Rest it for 10-minutes.
    7. Heat oil moderately and drop your bhajias using wet hands.
    8. Fry until golen brown in colour.
    9. Serve with your favorite chutney.
