Bati delights

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 1 cup wheat flour
    • ½ tsp salt
    • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
    • 1 tsp cumin seeds
    • 1 tsp ajwain
    • 2 Boiled potatoes
    • Pinch of coriander leaves


    1. First take 1 cup of wheat flour
    2. Mix the above spices
    3. Now add the mashed potatoes and coriander leaves
    4. Form a stiff dough out of this spices-potatoes mixture
    5. Make big round batis from the dough
    6. Heat in microwave oven for 25 minutes
    7. Take them out and fry them in ghee
    8. Now soak them in ghee
    9. Serve hot



    When u fry the batis take them out and dip them in a bowl filled with ghee and serve. Yes, u can use gramflour (besan) instead of wheatflour and also u can try on wheatflour and 1 tbsp gramflour if not using turmeric powder.



    Another thing, can we use other then wheat flour?



    Hi Swati, Sorry I didn't understand the last part? U fry the bati in oil then u soak it in oil???????Plz let me knoe.Thanks.
