Dollar chicken

round chicken patties stuffed with bellpeppers,onions and then crumb fried

Serves 10 people


  • ½ kg Chicken Keema
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 4 tbsp Cumin powder
  • ½ cup Onion and Capsicum
  • 3 tbsp Green Chilies
  • Oil to deep fry
  • Salt to taste
  • 1-2 cups Mashed potatoes
  • 5 eggs (beaten)


  1. Take a pan add melt butte. Now add ginger garlic paste,saute for a 1/2 min.
  2. Add chicken keema , turmeric just fry keema until it leaves water gently cook it on a low flame now cooked keema is ready.
  3. Now add chopped ingredients, salt, cumin powder, mashed potatoes to keema mix it well check for seasoning .
  4. Now make mixture into small balls dip them in beaten egg make it into a shape of a dollar dust with bread crumb and deep fry in oil till golden brown.
  5. Place patties on a tissue paper to remove excess oil ,now take a 1/2 plate place 6 six patties in the plate garnish laccha pyaz serve hot with tomato sauce or tomato chutney.
  6. you can also try this by adding chatpata masala. For vegetarians try with paneer and soya keema
