Goan dish from ripe bananas

Hot filos at teatime can be enjoyed on a rainy day with hot tea

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    1 Banana (ripe) 1 cup Wheat Flour 4 tsp Sugar 1/4 tsp table salt 4-5 cardamom powdered Oil for deep frying


    1. Make fine paste of peeled off banana and sugar. Transfer it to a bowl & add cardamom & salt.
    2. Add wheat flour little by little to it and stir to avoid lumps. Simultaneously, add water little by little to make it very thick pouring consistency.
    3. Heat oil in a pan. Leave one tbs full of dough to hot oil for deep frying.
    4. Fry on slow flame till brown. Soak excess oil with tissue paper.
