Red hot Shrimps

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings

    1 packet of frozen shrimps 3 tsps of red chilli powder 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder 1 1/2 tsp of dhania jeera powder few drops of red few colouring (optional) 1 tsp of white vinegar 2-3 tbs of curds salt to taste


    1. Wash the shrimps.
    2. Mix the red chilli powder, dhania-jeera powder, turmeric powder, red food colouring, salt and white vinegar in the curds. Mix thoroughly.
    3. Now marinate shrimps with this mixture and keep aside for minimum 2-3 hours.
    4. Before applying the mixture, taste whether the ingredients are in the right proportion.
    5. Now shallow fry the shrimps till golden brown or cooked.
    6. Note that there is no oil left back in the pan, and the dish should be dry and not wet. Serve hot.
