Ingredients
vegetarian 4 servings
2 tbsps. Kidney Beans
1 tbsp Garlic, chopped
1 tsp All spice powder
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
1½ cups Tomato, chopped
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
½ cup Black gram
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
2 tbsps. Ginger, chopped
½ cup Raw Cream
3 tbsps. Butter
1 cup Onion
1 no. Bay leaves
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
Directions
Soak whole black urad and Rajma overnight.
Cook the soaked dal and rajma in three cups of water with salt, red chili powder and half the chopped ginger in the pressure cooker for about 10 minutes, till dal and rajma are cooked and soft. (Timing differs depending on the size and kind of cooker)
Heat oil and butter in a thick-bottomed pan. Add cumin seeds, when it crackles add chopped onions and fry till golden brown.
