A different taste Lamb preparation. Try at home and enjoy!.
Ingredients
non vegetarian 4 servings
1 kg leg of the lamb-cut in to large boneless pieces
1/2 cup pineapple juice
2 tsp garlic paste
2 tsp ginger paste
2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp freshly ground pepper powder
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp vinegar
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp oil with 2 tsp butter
1 litre water
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/2 tsp mace powder
Directions
Prick the lamb pieces with a fork all over.
Mix ginger,garlic pastes with salt mace powder,cardamom powder,turmeric powder,freshly ground pepper powder and chilli powder and apply this all over the lamb pieces.Keep it aside for 30 mins.
Pour pineapple and lemon juice all over the lamb pieces.Place this on a baking tray and add 1 litre water.
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 300 degree C for 90 mins.Turn this pieces couple of times so that this gets cooked evenly.
When the water dries up completely,remove this from the tray.Brush oil and butter over the pieces and grill till golden brown.
