Chicken fry easily made in Goan Style

This can be done in 15 mins time and an easy variation for anyone to try at home.Happy Cooking!.


  • 1 kg chicken pieces
  • 10 red chillies
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 1 tsp pepper corns
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 20 garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • few coriander leaves
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp olive oil


  1. Grind all the ingredients except chicken pieces and mix this ground masala with chicken pieces and marinate for 40 mins.
  2. Add the marinated chicken pieces with marinade, add 1/2 cup marinade washed water and ground masala washed water.
  3. Pressure cook upto 4 whistle.Leave it for 15 mins.
  4. After 15 mins , open the pressure pan and cook till oil separates or till water runs dry.
