Gole Bhaat(Rice)

Simple & tasty dish

In my family everyone like it , my mother-in-low makes it often for all of us.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 3 cup Basmati Rice(cooked)
    • 2 cup chana daal
    • 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
    • 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
    • 4-5 green chillies
    • turmeric powder
    • salt to taste
    • cooking oil
    • 1 cup curd
    • 1 tsp aamchur powder


    1. Soak daal 4-5 hours & then coarse grind it with chillies from grinder.
    2. Take a ground daal in one bowl , now add ginger-garlic paste, pinch of turmeric powder, salt, coriander leaves, aamchur powder & mix them together.
    3. Now make  8-10 oval shape  balls of its.
    4. Grease a cooker bowl with oil, place all balls in it and steam the balls in pressure cooker  for 8-10 min.
    5. Serve these with cooked rice along with curd,pickle. while serving garnish it with coriander leaves.
