Stuffed Capsicum

Excellent Stuffing dish

Low in fat. Excellent source of vitamin C capsicums are stuffed with potato's spicy mixture.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 4 capsicums(preferably red,green & yellow coloured)
    • 3 medium size potatoes(boiled & smashed)
    • handful chopped fresh coriender
    • 3-4 green chillies(chopped)
    • salt to taste
    • oil
    • 1 tsp garam masala
    • pinch of asafoetida
    • 1 tsp lemon juice


    1. Cut capsicums into two pieces vertically.remove all the seeds from it.keep it aside.
    2. Take a bowl,add potatoes in it. except the oil add all ingredients in it & mix it well.
    3. Now fill the mixture in to cut capsicums.
    4. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed or non stick pan and place the capsicums on it. Cover the pan with a tight lid. Cook on low/medium flame for around 15-20 min.
    5. Serve it hot as a sidedish in a meal.



    y dont u also give options like if i dont wanna stuff it with potato can i stuff it with paneer/keema


    This can also be served as a healthy&tasty evening snack to the children.
