Sel Masala (Leftover Chapatti)

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 4 Leftover Chapatti
    • 1 Onion
    • 1 Tomato
    • 3 garlic pods
    • 10 sprigs of coriander leaves or 1/2 bunch
    • 2 greenchilli
    • 1 tsp ginger
    • 1/4 tsp jeera
    • 1/4 tsp haldi
    • 1/2 tsp Redchillipowder
    • less than 1/2 cup water
    • salt,to taste
    • 1 tbsp oil
    • 1 tsp of coriander leaves for garnishing

    Directions

    1. Chop onion,tomato,ginger,chilli,garlic and coriander leaves and grind them into a coarse paste with redchilli,haldi and salt.Don't add water while grinding.
    2. Cut the leftover chapattis into small pieces.
    3. Heat oil in a kadai and crackle jeera.Then add grounded coarse paste & fry till raw smell goes and oil seperates.
    4. Add water and after it starts boiling add left over chapatti pieces and shd not a gravy form or dry one.
    5. Chapattis is well soaked in water and becomes soft.
    6. Garnish with coriander leaves.Sel masala is ready.
