Chilli Idli (Left Over Idli)

just with chili also this chilli idli will be tasty.U can use garam masala but tastewise shahi paneer tastes well.When the quantity is more u can deep fry and mix with redchilli powder and masala,salt.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 5 Idlis (Please see travel idli for idli preparation)
    • 1½ tsp chilli powder
    • 1/2 tsp MDH shahi paneer masala
    • Salt to taste
    • 1½ tbsp oil

    Directions

    1. Cut left over idlis into 4 parts.
    2. Heat  2 tsp oil in a kadai. Add red chilli powder,shahi paneer masala & salt as how much u need for 1st round.
    3. Shallow fry 6-7 pieces in first round so that it will be coated well with spices and becomes more crispy like fried Idli.
    4. Repeat for second round with added oil and masalas.
    5. Serve hot with Tomato sauce.

    Note:Salt is already there in idli, when chilli powder is added to it, little salt has to be added.Check how much salt is needed and sprinkle it accordingly.
