Macaroni Pepper Fry

Half-cooked macaroni deep-fried with spices

This star hotel recipe is easy to do and yumm!.U can even add mashed potatoes or shredded babycorns or grated cheese or grated paneer to this macaroni-spices mix and try this fry.Tasty teatime snack to try at home.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 100 gm macaroni-half cooked and washed with 1 tsp olive oil
    • 2 bread slices-pulsed in mixer-grinder after removing edges
    • 1 tbsp white pepper powder
    • 1 tsp black pepper powder-freshly ground
    • a pinch of turmeric powder
    • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
    • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
    • 1 tsp cumin powder
    • 1 tsp garam masala powder
    • 2 tsp corn flour
    • 1 tsp besan flour
    • 2 tsp maida flour
    • 2 tsp suji or semolina
    • 1 tsp salt or to taste
    • 1 tsp lemon juice
    • 200 ml oil
    • 2 tbsp water

    Directions

    1. Pulse the half-cooked macaroni without adding water.Mix all the other ingredients except oil.Knead it well and Roll them into sausage- shaped sticks.
    2. Heat oil in a frying pan.Drop the spices mixed Macaroni rolls and deep fry them till golden brown.
    3. Serve this hot with tomato ketchup at teatime.
